Mad_Cyril I dont mind Hernan sometimes. Problem is he kicks off some sets in dull minor when trying to engineer a build. And does it far more frequently than other DJs I listen to This set is one, turgid at best, hence ditched after 20 minutes.

alistair In my experience, South Americans know how to put on a party and the gig/club atmospheres are on another level to the States. HC is royalty out there. About 400 plus comments to that set which is about a week old and most of them in either Portuguese or Spanish.
LT42 alistair Agreed, been to State in BA and a handful of smaller underground clubs in the city, all of which were incredible. Martin Garcia is also God there, didn’t catch him though. Never made it to Punta Del Este on that trip, a couple of mates went but I had to fly home 🙃

alistair SA’s like their prog house more percussion based. Hernan rarely boshes it out which to these ears at home is nice. Digweed’s recent beatport live shitfest was one of the worst sets in lockdown. Thankfully, we have the bunkers as consolation. As for Sasha, he has produced one very good lockdown set, the rest were dire

LT42 Horses for courses, it was great laidback set to have on when working away here. The Beatport mix was good too. There are only 2 or 3 Bunkers I’d ever revisit also. Lets be fair here. They weren’t all masterpieces despite some of the fawning.
sbando alistair I do Sasha a disservice, I also quite enjoyed the one in his garden. The orchard mix was quality.
