Along_the_Wire I’m riding 800km through the Alps from Geneva to Nice in early July - 18,000m of climbing and ticking off a ton of classic Tour climbs. 6 days, but 6th day is a shorter mostly downhill day.
303abuser Along_the_Wire I enjoy running single track, watching bikes fly by me on the downhills, then I pass them up the next climb. I feel like it bruises their egos lol. Those mountain climbs must be ridiculous for the average person. Mad_Cyril Seriously, how?
Mad_Cyril Fell backwards off a wall trying to retrieve a ball. TLDR: Stupidity Not my dominant arm though, so cracking one off is still an option!
303abuser Ah the ol Humpty Dumpty, hope it’s not too bad. Good thing you’re not Grant’s age, would take forever to heal.
Along_the_Wire 303abuser LOL - thankfully, I haven’t broken anything since my 30s Mind you, started golf lessons yet again on Friday, so you never know
303abuser Along_the_Wire I snapped my 5th metatarsal playing soccer at 41, was in a boot for 6 weeks, but it took a full year to get my fitness back. I suspect I’ve got some lingering muscle imbalances that only show up when I’m running 75+ km/week. Getting old sucks.
-si- No shame in admitting you broke the arm after trying one of the rhouses’ world famous table tenny backhand pass shots, having not been through his rigorous pre-backhand weight training regime, whilst following the microwave tuna diet.
