C_J LOL fair enough. I was imagining some monstrosity with cubed cheese, mayonnaise, and some other mystery ingredients, probably mustard and/or pickle relish, all mixed together and put between two slices of bread. šŸ˜‚

C_J Pickled Beetroot from a jar a packet of crisps.

To be fair to Grant heā€™s got lettuce tomato and onion in there so Iā€™d say thereā€™s at least a bit of a salad going on there.

Not sure about the lettuce personally and would go red onion rather than white but other than that itā€™s a fine sanger imo.

C_J Not much lettuce, bit of chopped Romaine. White onion is stronger - I love it with some really good, strong cheddar.

White onion definitely with a strong cheddar. Last week i made my first batch of sliced red onion pickles. They are so morish i may try it cheddar today.

my wife got upset and we had an argument with me that her bacon sandwhich tasted to ā€œpiggyā€. still making me angry that how can that be an issue to complain about.

I havenā€™t been in an office since early March. Agree with @Kells77 there are some massive benefits , such as eradicating commuting and lounge ware , but change of scenery and human interaction sorely missed.

I donā€™t have kids so could not imagine two people WFH with kids having to be home schooled and waited on . Hats off big time .

            bosstrabs (English) muffins > crumpets.

I concur but the crumpet has more versatility.

Crumpets dipped in egg and chilli flakes and fried, crispy bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup. Quality nosebag

Sounds lush Stu. All thatā€™s missing is a spring of spring onion or two šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

IndustryStandard Just over a year for me, and I hugely doubt Iā€™ll be in an office any time this year eitherā€¦

Been (largely) a home worker for about five years, so in some regards, the forced remote working of the past year has felt pretty normal. Whatā€™s really noticeable is that a lot of folks working at home for the first time are working harder than they have done before. Finding the balance between home and work when youā€™re always at home takes practice.

And yeah - add home-schooling on top of that? FUCK THAT. Nothing but admiration for the folks who are doing itā€¦

Anyway, canā€™t wait to get the old Inoc Powell so I can go to a pub again.
