The problem with all the scrolling and everything being on one page is that it makes it more difficult to go back and look at or find older posts.
FIrstly, it takes longer to load the older posts when scrolling back up.
Secondly, even though you might remember that a certain post had been made somewhere on, say, a page 4 of a thread, you’re unlikely to remember that it happened around, say, post number 160.
