Most of the old LTJ Bukem mixes have really annoying MCs over them ruining the damn things.

Dubman I don’t love every mc, but in the case of ltj bukem and mc conrad, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

I’d retort that the point is just to add atmosphere vs social commentary, but then I fear I’ve already driven the ball into the first cut.

Its part of the culture of that genre and of the time though. Its like asking, “Can I have a mix of Sasha from 1996 but it must have no breakdowns.”

Incidentally, I remember a Sasha mix from Fantazia that had an MC over the mix. In otherwords, GFY Hugo.

PFN - Western is boss with the Conrad vocal though, but I totally agree about jungle/D&B MCs in general.

D&B and MC’s go hand in hand. Like asking for an old hardcore tape without an MC over it. Virtually impossible.
