NasserAlazzawi there isn’t one set theory - zackster’s initial theory which spawned a much-debated thread was that disc 1s of mix CDs tend to be better than disc 2s, though many, including myself, disagreed with this.
There is also the more specific ongoing debate on this board as to whether disc 1 or disc 2 of Sasha’s Ibiza is better.
@jonattonyeah is firmly in the Ibiza disc 2 > disc 1 camp, as am I, so in this instance his statement that the “music sounds disc 2” is a compliment, while the crowd being “disc 1” is him indicating it doesn’t seem that good.
My follow-up comment that “Sasha hasn’t sounded disc 2 for about 2 decades (perhaps unsurprisingly)” was me indicating that he both hasn’t sounded great (a la Ibiza disc 2) in about 2 decades, but also that he literally hasn’t been playing music similar to Ibiza disc 2 for almost 2 decades.
However, if Smalls has posted jonatton’s comment then it would have been him indicating the music sounded poor but the crowd seemed good, as he is one of those who bizarrely hold the opinion that Ibiza disc 1 > disc 2.
