All these big corporates are cunts….when I was about to buy a house I discovered that Vodafone had messed up a bill payment at the beginning of the first lockdown .. that led to a black mark on my credit report.. as a result I was told by the first 2 mortgage providers I approached it wasn’t going to happen despite being a very strong credit otherwise.. the obudsman sorted it out but it took a few months… fortunately I managed to get a mortgage in the end but I might have missed out on my house purchase … mind boggles how these corporates are able to fuck people like that

Dan octopus haven’t debited my account for any electricity for 9 months. Currently about £700 in credit. I’ve emailed them loads to tell them. I’ve given up.

I won’t be changing supplier any time soon so won’t get it back, I mean it’s theirs anyway. And about right for the electricity I’m using.

That wasn’t the case maybe four or five years ago (I was working in the housing industry at that point), but that may have changed now.

I know at one point, if you wanted solar panels you basically rented your roof to the installer and split the benefits, was wondering if that was still case now, as it always struck me as being complete and utter bullshit.

I can attest to how stressful this can be, especially whilst trying to get a mortgage. We had a fucking mere with Scottish Power when we lived up in Edinburgh. Ended up in a tangled mess with 3 accounts, paying for some other cunts gas and leccy on our street. Each call would be at least 40 mins on hold, and then having to explain the mess from the very begining. Went on for months. In the end I used a 3rd party called “resolver” to fix everything:

I think they must work by having direct access to teams above the usual call centre drones. I would highly reccomend you try them Dutchy, if you you don’t get any joy with EON.

I was with BG for a while until they sent me a spurious demand for £3.5k which sent the missus into a tailspin. Binned the cunts after that. With Shell now.

So received a letter in respone to my claim (in my email spam folder) basically telling me they are disappointed I’d referred the case to the ombudsman as theiy have a 60 day turnaround policy for dealing with conplaints etc. and asking me to upload photos of the meters as evidence if my usage to expidite the matter.

I was fucking seething (had a few drinks yesterday) and got the laptop out and bashed out a 2 page letter in response calling them absolute incompetent cunts and to not contact me again, I am refusing to deal with them other than through the ombudsman.

After I finished the response and sent it I was trying to upload the documents to my case with the ombudsman byt there was a problem with the site preventing me from doing so. Turns out it was my mates on the windup.

Fucking reg. Thank fuck I couldn’t upload the docs to the case or I’d be kissing goodbye to any money on this one
