  • John Digweed 'Live In' Series - Fabric, London

LT42 same as with some previous ones, CDs and mixes have all the tracks, not all are in the package as singles. Mixes come when you buy it digital wherever, streaming they are not on all sites. Don’t blame this on Digweed, all down to licensing. You can’t always license all tracks for all platforms. Montreal Finale is the only example where some tracks were ONLY on the CDs.

nicksneddon that’s the tl for the tracks that are available as full length singles on the digital album. I’m after the tl for the mixes.

    Still not the full tracklist.

57 tracks plus 4 continuous would be 61 tracks.

I’m guessing some tracks in the mix couldn’t be licensed for a single release?

Also, does anyone have the CDs? Would love timings to make some cues for the continuous mix files

Struggle to understand the logic of withholding your tracks from the biggest music distribution platforms tbf.

Rodriguez Jr - Mare Serenitatis is an absolute cracker. Take me to Fabric room 1 now!

Homegrove Don’t blame this on Digweed

Any chance I can just buy a mix digitally and listen to it without it being like a fucking rubix cube. There’s no need to be so defensive of him either, its a dig at the state of the market more than anything. Its an absolute shambles. It was the same with Sasha’s Fabric mix. On iTunes the “mix” had stamps in between the tracks and there was no way around it, maybe its the need to make money off the individual tracks also, I don’t know.

LT42 on Apple Music, this is a seamless mix. Same on Spotify or whatever? Fine listen it is too

Homegrove For more money than releasing on Apple could give them? Sure if it’s a depeche mode remix or something. Some obscure group from a niche label ran from someones shed in nowheresville, not so much. You’d think the exposure alone would mean letting it out would be the wise move.

alistair cant listen to the mix on spotify, just separate unmixed tracks. not sure who wants to listen to them individually

Wally fuck knows man, just speculating what could be an actual reason behind it.

So Apple Music and Qubiz are the ones with the mixes from the streaming services?

It’s mixed on all the streaming platforms. 48 tracks 3 hours 58 mins. So missing 3 tracks. If we all stick together we can get through this tough time.

Fuck, noticed the same. So went and bought it from Bandcamp. Hopefully the singles I don’t know are good.

Dubmick actually the mixed versions (BP and Bandcamp) come to 4 hours and 51 minutes, so the streaming platforms are missing more than 3 tracks.
