John Digweed 'Live In' Series - Fabric, London
Was hoping for Live In… Torquay after his August outing, but I guess this will have to do.
His gig here in October was outstanding, therefore I will purchase this with great gusto.
Looks like we have to wait for a full tracklist until the day of the release.
Cheers H.
I’ve actually got a copy

Plenty of tracks there I don’t own yet, so don’t have to grudge the 20 € price. Which is nice.
SM001 Having listened to all the tracks individually this morning, there’s not a lot in that tracklist that I feel I need. Put me off buying it tbh.
For me, I think the interest would be in listening to the mixed parts.
Was definitely impressed at how many individual tracks are listed that I wasn’t aware of but I made the decision years ago not to just collect stuff for the sake of it, if it isn’t in the last month or two just simply because of the high likelihood that it will just get stored on my HDD and never get played. When that happens, it just adds to the sense that there is too much disposable music. That said, if any real gems come up, I will make the effort to grab them as a potential future classic but the bar is set quite high for that.
It’s his whole set from start to finish, no tracks missing for licensing purposes this time.
Which is nice.
So far, I have been bored senseless by John’s ‘Live In’ series… yet, here I am again thinking, ‘that tracklist looks interesting’…
Will I succumb to curiosity once again? Will I then give it away because it’s dull as dish water like the other releases I have bought? Is history repeating itself? Does anyone care? Do I care? Is that lump I found something to worry about?
The last few albums I’ve purchased from bedrock have been so disappointing I don’t think I’ll be buying the new mix. His Apple mixes have been really good though. He does play decent deep house.
