Old-Dutch Anyone have one of these? Considering a dual drawer Ninja air fryer / grill but undecided on what to go for / how good they are https://ninjakitchen.co.uk/product/ninja-foodi-max-dual-zone-air-fryer-af400uk-zidAF400UK
Along_the_Wire Now we’re talking Dutchy. Bought this is 2020, it was a Which? best buy at the time and still is, but there’s a joint Best Buy with a Ninja one - links https://www.tefal.co.uk/Cooking-appliances/Healthy-Fryers/ActiFry-Genius-XL-2in1-YV970840-Health-Air-Fryer--Black--1-7kg--8-Portions/p/1510001578 https://ninjacooking.co.uk/?promoproduct=AG551UK&gclid=Cj0KCQiAieWOBhCYARIsANcOw0xMkTsOY3g7ZfxmYojqzu1bf7I9Lt7qgUbzRiRBiHcDFaNKMFMW5RMaAnTwEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds The Tefal thing is excellent - I’ve done all sorts in it - battered sausages were a particularly surprising highlight. When you do chips, they’re kind of like oven chips, but a bit healthier
Dubman Along_the_Wire battered sausages were a particularly surprising highlight BF certainly in da house
Old-Dutch Along_the_Wire Nice one mate. Was considering the Ninja grill, but quite like the idea of having 2 seperate sections which can cook different methods at same time. Will look.at the Tefal
bosstrabs Along_the_Wire unbelievable Jeff! https://www.foodlovinfamily.com/fried-egg-in-air-fryer/ Fairly pointless use of space that could be filled by more bacon, and you can do your eggs poached or shirred on the side.
Along_the_Wire Old-Dutch 2 seperate sections Didn’t realise the Ninja had only one section. Two is important if you want things to be ready at the same time - the chips take quite a long time.
rhouses Anyone got some tips or recipes for the Air Fryer? Can’t recommend it enough for chicken wings, they come out perfect every time.
bosstrabs These are good for (marinated) chicken wings and chips. They are dogshit for anything in batter or breadcrumbs, when only a proper deep fryer will do.
rhouses bosstrabs yup, pretty much my experience as well. Threw in some breaded mutton cutlets and they came out horrific. Had some deep fried prawn wontons that warmed up nicely after they sat in the fridge overnight. How about boneless chicken breasts?
