Funky it’s amazing how much of this you have wrong.
first, most of the protesters are not truckers. there are a few, but this is not a homogenous group and most truckers and the rest of the country don’t support them.
second, the police were the exact opposite of heavy handed. at best they did nothing, at worst they were helping the protesters. that’s why the provinces requested federal help and the exact purpose of the emergencies act.
third, the mandates that they’re theoretically protesting were already in the process of being removed and most of them are provincial, not federal. the goals of the protesters, when asked, are as varied and inconsistent as your ramblings.
why do you think you know more about this than someone who is watching it happen in their neighbourhoods and has first hand experience with it? forget that you don’t understand the legal, social, and political intricacies in even the most basic ways.
your argument is basically “i hate masks and vaccines and fuck the government for trying to tell me what to do.” it’s a selfish and harmful position, while being extremely hypocritical. you’re supporting people yelling about freedom, while simultaneously trying to impose their will on a population who doesn’t agree with them. you’re not a victim.
