Zelensky’s desperate as we can see from his latest Twitter thread. Europe can’t and won’t fund him singlehandedly and it doesn’t have the hardware. That rare mineral deal could be worth upwards of 500 billion according to reports.

Similarly, the European’s Union’s recently-agreed Ukraine Plan – which will provide 50bn euros to Ukraine in grants and loans during 2024-27 – is also conditional on, among other things, the “entry into force of the legislation on corporate governance of state-owned enterprises”.

And that’s the problem right there. No one is willing to stand up and do the right thing. American foreign policy over the last century leaves a lot to be desired, but they’ve done a lot to hold shit together too. China is watching this and Taiwan is in trouble.

Where are ROI on that list, they actually out do Canada on gdp per capita. Suppose they took plenty of Ukrainian refugees but they really should be upping their funding by a lot and their defence now, considering the UK are.
