Another example of people jumping the shark for shock value and news headlines. Putin’s statement about mobilising the Strategic Deterrence Force would include putting the backbone of the Russian army on high alert using squadrons that have been cold & dark for the last week, plus the use of various classified weapons classes commanded by Northern Divisions of which, nuclear is one class.
His speech didn’t mean he was pointing nuclear weapons at Kyiv or anywhere else. Again, this explanation has been verified across 8 or 9 verified OSIT accounts. None of which will get airtime on prime time TV, which happens to be the real perpetrator of misinformation and twisted headlines.

ScottBailey Judo is no longer the sport it was. They cut out any moves involving leg grabs which made it really sucky for me. Incidentally, Russians were blamed for that rule change, rightly or wrongly.

I’m not saying 100% of the info on Twitter is wrong. Clearly there will be some accurate data out there. I think it’s very hard to be sure what’s real and what isn’t, though.

Yes. Very easy. Unless you’ve put the tin foil hat on and every verified account and legitimate expert is indeed in the illuminati. You’re right though, a lot of it is hard to verify, especially raw footage which can be from anytime since 2014.

LT42 what’s to say they aren’t already armed? Pretty certain those with nuclear missiles are ready to launch within minutes of a call from the top. What’s the point in having a nuclear arsenal if it’s not ready to go. Surely Putin’s call is more a case of “get your key ready”?

ScottBailey No, he mobilised the Strategic Deterrence Forces, the backbone of the armed forces, the heavy machinery so to speak. Larger missiles, more sofisticated guidance systems etc. The nuclear arsenal falls under that command, that is it. People are jumping the shark. If you think Putin is going to fire some nukes beacuse they took his yacht off him then that’s just being silly.

Remember, although there’s videos of people protesting in Moscow etc, a large par tof their population believe they are liberating Eastern Ukraine and that Zelensky is a whore for the Yanks. So on the other side of the curtain the perception is very different to you or I.
For what it’s worth, mobilising the SDF would mean giving every unit a “preliminary command”. Which in layman’s terms means - start up the engines.
