Unbroken1 That’s the issue - put in a hot cue as a loop, but whether I have it on as auto-loop or just as a loop cue, it fucks things up, as @NasserAlazzawi said, it doesn’t allow you to go to the start of the track with the cue button, it snaps to where the loop cue is. Really fucking annoying

Along_the_Wire …where the loops are saved in RB (top right I think, there should be in/out timecodes), is the icon next to them red or amber?

Unbroken1 Red so that it auto loops - I changed it to amber to see if that helped with the cue button issue, but it’s the same

Along_the_Wire …make sure they are amber and try to re-export, I’m fairly sure this is your issue

NasserAlazzawi …click them, or you may need to cycle through a few clicks, can’t quite remember.

If they are Active/Auto Loops, they automatically start looping when you hit that point in the track, if they are normal saved loops, you recall them either using the left/right arrows, or the appropriate number/colour key (CDJ3000’s), on the other Pio’s not so sure, might be different…

I have loads of auto loops on my tracks. Not an issue with my XDJ 700s, but on the CDJ3000s they did the same thing as Grant’s XDJ XZ. Is it an issue with newer Pioneer-gear? It only happened with tracks that had an autoloop at the end, but no hot cues at the start, so I figured I’d just add at least one hot cue on every track I have even if it starts with a good beat.

Homegrove I think it’s to do with whether:

You have your Mysettings set up right and
If you have, whether they’re loaded

As we discovered the other week, if you are taking over the decks from a DJ and put a usb into a playing CDJ (which was using link to the other usb deck) then you can’t load it until the song finishes.

I now suspect, saying this out loud, that you can press LINK - SHORTCUT - LOAD MY SETTINGS on the deck that doesn’t have your usb in and is not playing.

Made no difference to me, I had hot cues ahead of the auto-loop already.

I’ve kind of solved it, but auto-loop doesn’t work. In export mode, you save the loop to memory and you can toggle the loop to amber/red. Saving the loop to memory creates a memory marker (a red arrow at the top of the waveform) and this seems to be what fucks it all up. I’ve had to delete the memory and just have a bog standard loop cue point

Mad_Cyril It’s fair to say it’s caused me some right anxiety - my mixing’s has been patchy today too, which hasn’t helped.
