Mental and Physical health hacks, resources and advice
303abuser rather you than me mate
Morty-C-137 Running until you want to die seems like a good way to learn something about yourself.
Any of you lot had your bio markers tracked?
If so, which company did you go with? Did you get useful info back? Any worries about them having your info?
I’m vaguely interested in numerically observing my slow physical demise over the coming years…

Can’t you both just measure your ‘little chaps’, at ease and standing to attention, every 6 months and post on the board?
Equally depressing I’d venture
Might be taking a u-turn on magnesium, doing one pill everyday, but starting to feel like melatonin now. Tad bit groggy in the morning, and I seem to be mentally reliant on it at night. Thinking I’ll do one every other day.
Thanks for the update rhouses.
What is this witchcraft you speak of Amps? Tell me more
303abuser I would imagine so. Basically any suffering allows for that (if you are open to it).
I did go for a health check yesterday where the nurse said I was in fantastic shape.
Amps Biomarkers, as in physical health paramaters? Like heartrate, sleep cycles, VO2max, resting rate, steps, etc etc?
Apple has that data in my case.
Smallman1 was she buxom? I had a minor surgery this week and awoke from my general anaesthesia to an absolutely magnificent eastern European goddess nurse. Will never go NHS again if that’s the calibre of nurse at the Nuffield. Went all Leslie Phillips (RIP) for a moment and thanked my lucky stars it wasn’t Benson flicking through a travel mag instead.

Morty-C-137 Bit more than that, its usually a wide spectrum blood test for molecules and genes. So an example would be that they test for Alanine Aminotransferase is an enzyme in your liver, too much of it and your liver is goosed. They can test for all sorts, and as far as I can tell, it can be pretty useful in catching stuff / warning of stuff early on.
But, I confess, I haven’t yet done Hugo esque research into the subject, I’ve only just started reading about it, and thought I would see if anyone has any experience of it.
The drawback being that a private company has some fairly deep info on your health. You can only begin to imagine the bombardment of marketing shite that follows:
Low T? Hursty trab ads.
Really low T? Saga holiday ads.
Really, really low T? Funeral plan ads!
