So we have a work do in a few weeks and there’s an absolute spastic (not Dave) involved in the organisation of it who insists on a ‘relaxed formal’ attire policy. It’s basically a formal dinner and stay over in a hotel.
When i pressed her on the term ‘relaxed formal’ she used the example of chinos and a blazer/jacket (I can only assume her wand of a husband dresses like Partridge). Jeans seemingly arent really an option.
Now, unlike Millsy I dont really have the wardrobe to marry with this dress policy and since most of you go around looking like confiused vicars, I thought id bring this dilema to my JC brethren.
It will prove to be utterly fruitless but im open to suggestions as, unlike many of you, i don’t dress like a complete bastard so this weird concept is a little out of my area of expertise.
