Homegrove
Got them all on original vinyl from my father. He went to all the live shows when they toured all the albums.

Even though they are my favourite band I didn’t really like the material they made with Syd Barrett.

Dubman me neither really, with the exception of See Emily Play and Astronomy Domine and Interstellar Drive. Imagine it would have been a great live experience though

alistair and he’s not short of a penny because of it, so paying dues where deserved. But given the choice of have to watch his smug, arrogant boat on stage prentending to care about the band, or watching Guy Pratt in substitute and delivering an even better show because of, I know what I’d choose to see 10/10

Homegrove Metallica is a dad band now, but wasn’t when I was young

I’d pay top dollar to time travel back to be at this gig! Monster of a performance…

Homegrove I’ve got their albums on re-released heavy vinyl - the production on Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon is phenomenal - they’re the best sounding records I own by miles.

Mad_Cyril Floyd Oxbridge in joke at their middle class audiophile fans with their Bang and Olufsens

Roger Waters - In The Flesh, Portland. (2000). Prob the best live gig I’ve ever seen. The one with Doyle Bramhall II and Andy Fairweather Low. Every musician on show at the top of their game, its incredible how tight the show is from start to finish. Best music DVD I ever spent money on.

I’m talking about just regular re-issue vinyl (albeit heavier vinyl)

alistair Echoes one of the best pieces of music ever written IMO. Check out the version on “Live in gdansk” with DG and RW in an almost telepathic haze. Immense……

Lawler infecting a Floyd thread is a fucking travesty
