Zackster had purple spikey hair and listened to happy hardcore with chipmunk vocals back in 98.

You would’ve coveted my techno collection in the early days, Z. All out of the darkest jungles of Belgium and Rotterdam.

LT42 R&S being out of vogue at the time I started buying records was a huge part of how I got into techno. You could get their mid 90s stuff for dirt cheep because everybody wanted the newest prog records at the time. Seeing as my income was cutting grass over the summer, that was exactly the sort of price point I was looking for.

ScottBailey That video is a trip. I think I downloaded an edited version of that off of Limewire back in the day. I enjoyed the chic doing the interviews starting out by saying Ibiza, and switching to Ibitha after hearing Sasha pronounce it.

Is that how you’ve amassed 10000 records which are pretty much all absolutely shite instead of 500 carefully chosen amazing ones, el zacko?

Speaking of Sasha, 9/11, airplanes, et cetera….

NINE ELEVEN WAS A PROGRESSIVE HOUSE JOB

      Smallman1

      Lol.

“Whats that you say, Jeff Mills has been playing this Serbian warlord-core in all his sets? Take my fucking 7 dollars and get that shit in my heavily discounted sale pile!”

Big fan of when Si likes a post so much that he plagiarizes it.

mono-stereo AKA Jobseeker’s Techno or Chips Butty Step.
6 hous of incredibly cheap music.

          Lol!

zackster …erm, I started by saying I never liked/agreed with the term, whether it’s a tired old definition or not my point was that particular combo of sounds definitely kicked off something new.

Lols for poundstretcher House and jobseekers techno!

Lol. That’s so funny that I’m going to have to steal it, zacko.

Yet another thread confirming that my unique brand of working man’s techno is far more interesting and conversation worthy than yesterday’s prog.

              zackster …no offence taken.

Thanks but no thanks, if it’s worth having I already have it.

Right. Completely forgot I sorted you out with my entire Acid Zaxxx discography.

To sum up, Zackster’s had an absolute reg.

Millsy yeah it’s proper grim. The way his head contents starts pouring out his nose and front of his face. Bleurgh.

              Anyway, time for tea!

The worst thing I’ve seen is someone was livestreaming from the recent air disaster.

Plane vertical, entire cabin of passengers howling. Don’t watch if someone sends to you. Harrowing.

bosstrabs Hang on, you’re saying their phone wasn’t in air plane mode? Well that explains a few things!

bosstrabs Plane vertical, entire cabin of passengers howling.

                Pilot just dropped Muzak?

Dropped Muzak after dropping the plane?

                Probably lifted the spirits tbf.

One last hurrah, trying to make the most of a bad scenario. Would there even be time for the saints and sinners/trisco transition from communicate to get the arms in the air?

Some say it was cabin depressurisation that took the breath away but believers know it was Trisco.

Christian this and the Detroit gig are the two other (aside from Miami) Delta Heavy recordings you can find on tinternet. Think there was chat of a NY set recording too, but haven’t been able to find that personally

I agree with what Dave said about 98-2001,but this mix is possibly his finest imo.. Absolutely floored me when i first heard this.Vintage.
