Anthony Pappa interview now Live
caught about half of the interview before my phone rang, good work.
Seems like a nice bloke
Thanks guys. Yeah he was class. I’m taking heed of his advice ’don’t be a dick’
He does does comes across as being very down to earth. I watched a very good interview with him discussing his GU comp and his rise in his popularity as a DJ. His live lockdown mixes were very good.
Caught most of it, Nas. Great work mate. Tony Paps is a good skin.
Good work fella. Enjoyed that

As someone who’s only more recently been getting in close proximity to full time touring DJs there does generally seem to be a thread of them having to be absolutely sound and bringing positivity. No matter what’s going on. Not always, but usually.
Before this video started I was talking to him about the sheer amount of health issues he’s had and he said that being mindful of how bad his fitness was during lockdown everyone was helping him get going with it again. So he started cycling, had a massive accident not long into it (bike wheel stuck in tram lines, flying off) and then more recently he had an operation on his collarbone and THEN broke a rib the other week on top of all of that.
There’s more to it than that but for all the jibes about his weight in the other thread, he’s been really trying but it’s been a proper nightmare. And yet his attitude is spot on, he’s showing up for everything.
Great interview that Nass, top fella
Congrats on the kid Nas.
hugopal thanks mate
ArchimedesQ thanks Pete.

There’s a soundcloud version of it here for those using phones / listening.
NasserAlazzawi Nice one Nas, he seems like a sound lad.
Despite him not answering my gardening questions, that’s superb, nas.
Pappa always was a decent guy anytime he was over in lush. Still comes across as very genuine. His streams have been magnificent also, great dj and still has an ear for a record!
It seems none of the board’s questions got asked.
The vibe killer’s in the house!
