Thanks so much for the well wishes, folks! Happiest moment of my life. Just working on getting in a rhythm now with her feeding and sleep cycle. The genes are coming through well with massive poop explosions on a daily basis, she’s doing me proud.
Wife is a bit stressed about the jaundice testing, which is a standard for a new born. Just don’t want to be cooped up in a small hospital room with her under the UV lights because we feel it could be traumatic since she loves being held most of the time. But she’s passed the hearing test today, which is a relief.
Amps Naaaah not for the first six months at least. It’s summer in India and as much as I’d love for her to have trabs cred from the get go, the heat will just make it an annoyance for her. Will be getting on it when the time is right, that’s for sure.
seanc80 lol. I’m glad you caught on, was leaving little easter eggs in there (like selling off most of my Jordans and Yeezys and replacing it with a couple pairs of NB) to let you guys know I was expecting.
Jules72 Right now I’m just happy to hear the random gurgling, burps and seeing the smiles. The neck situation has me anxiety ridden, can’t wait till she can hold her head up without support.
BlainSA She really wanted a natural birth and bless her she tried her very best. Baby’s shoulders got stuck in her pelvis and she started receding back in, which is when the doctor told us we need to act fast. We know that it wasn’t a money grab (this can be a problem at other birthing centers in India) because the c-section was already covered in our plan.
baggers44 I’m feeling it and then some!
Heno It’s as real as it gets! Thought I’d retire at 45, now it’s looking like 60.
Thanks again fellas, always means a lot to me hearing from you guys on big occasions. Also, reading a lot of your stories around kids over the years always made me think I need to get on this.
