The idea is to understand the baby’s needs and what works for us, for the first month or two. The last thing we need is the nanny constantly telling us how we should do it.

Our cleaning lady and cook who come 6 days a week should suffice. Plus my mum-in-law has been on overdrive helping us out. Having said that, we have a nanny on standby. It is getting tough on the missus, because I haven’t taken my paternity leave yet. It just dawned on her today she’ll never be able to take a hot shower whenever she wants to.
