  • Pilton...I mean Glasto' Festival

apyssjw yeah same, I found the sound as a whole poor at times which was never the case over the years I’ve went

Chin up Heno, you’ve just been lucky enough to attend the greatest festival on planet earth.

Roll call for who made it up the Tor to kitchen sink it with the local radio rentals?

What is a “proper techno artist”?

    Fuck off, Hugo.

SM001 two mixers ffs. She has that much faith in her music choice eh……

hugopal Along_the_Wire this was the lineup, don’t really recognise any proper techno artists:

Lol. Big Brother is watching you. Everything you ever type on here will be fact checked by some absolute melter. Do your research before you post people!

hugopal it was absolutely banging in there - the faces on the people at the bar on that side of it were fucking hilarious.

Smallman1 ah I know! I’ve got the sad’s big time since Sunday when leaving, about to hit forty and can’t accept it! I’ve had too much fun

hugopal Alternative DJ’s possibly playing techno….decent line up.

    Jules72

Ha ha this is true. And the rest. Think he’s only got about 40 records. Gets wheeled out at every revival gig there is.

SM001 Great DJ. Technically up there with the best of them. I’ve seen recent clips of her using 2 mixers. The nutbag.

    I’ve met Avalon Emerson.

    Klang.

Jules72 Moaning every year about his ‘reduced’ fee.

    Haha

I shouldnt laugh because hes 80 and was once in the Beatles.

Needs a proper rock band to headline. I reckon someone like Anvil would do the trick.

Iron Maiden, Depeche Mode, Prince and Fleetwood Mac. Just four artists that should have headlined. Will probably be Coldplay for the fifth time

Adele and Ed Sheeran, with Jive Bunny in support. Roisin Murphy on backing vocals.

alistair Fleetwood Mac headlining the Pyramid would be my proper once-in-a-lifetime gig…

They’re after too much money the greedy bastards.

        alistair Depeche Mode

They did a neat trick of being a stadium act while staying sort of underground, or alternative at the same time. I can see why they never headlined, I don’t think they even did any festivals until recently.

alistair not sure I’d want to see them now. Was lucky enough to see them in 1990, albeit without Lindsey….again

Arctic Monkeys would be good again especially with a new album round the corner

vinnyt77 Glastonbury doesn’t pay as much as normal gigs despite their massive ticket sales. Whether your a band or DJ it’s a supposed privledge to play there. Greg Wilson said on his blog they only pay 2/3rd of your normal fee.
