Just seems like rote ADID or Beatport “Deep House”. I don’t like that kind of music, but I don’t think this is that bad or any worse than anything else I’ve heard in that “genre”.

Was at some bizarre charity gig at a trendy art gallery in Soho years ago and the line up was Ian McCulloch (acoustic set) and Maya Jane Coles who did a turn on the decks.
McCulloch stormed out halfway through his set as no one was listening and then Maya Jane Coles played a 6 out of 10 set.
A very odd night.

I saw this on Juno the other day and chuckled to myself. Couldn’t bring myself to listen to it. Just had a listen and its even worse than I imagined lol. What the fuck was he thinking?
