The whole streaming thing stinks from top to bottom. Labels ripping off the artists and the platforms ripping off both. The money I spend my Apple Music subscription should be going to the artists I listen to and not some cunt like Ed Sheeran
Along_the_Wire it’s so obviously wrong.
SoundCloud (‘go’ I think) makes it a selling point that it pays the artists on its plays - but nobody I know subs to their streaming platform - which is different to a normal ‘artist’ page sub.
