  • Dance Music Artist You Own The Most Music From

jonattonyeah I gotta get on that. His RA Exchange discussion was one of my absolute favorites. He was so inspiring. I remember listening to it at work, then riding my bike home on my lunch break just to program shitty drum loops :because he got me so excited and motivated.

Soul:R was a top label. Managed to catch Intalex at the end for a Bukem night and he put Bukem in the shade.

Peace Division. Why ? I have no idea - they used to see me coming in that record shop - it was an addiction. I probably only like Club Therapy and the one about the stripper….the rest is all set to a simple formula ….they’ve fucked off now ….probably doing film music or working for a hedge fund (maybe not that)

I follow Clive Henry on FB. I’m not sure if he’s still making records but he still DJs.
I also own a fair bit of their music.

i reckon over the years it is porbably tiefshwarz. started off when they first come out in 2002 with freakbox, red dress etc, but each year I have at least bough a couple of their releases. still would not go to see them dj

Hmmm probably Lexicon Avenue or Circulation

baggers44 i have loads of peace division too. don’t think much of it was stellar, but it was generally decent and i found it always sat well in a mix, good for transitions and such.

Dubman hehe. it sounds a bit dated - i think that tribal thing was massively overplayed looking back on it …..John Creamer …..he was huge……. for about 5 weeks anyway

baggers44 idk how much it contributed to the demise of that sound, but I can’t imagine the rise of the DAW did tribal any favors. Unless I’m mistaken most all of the drum loops are just samples, which makes those tunes embarrassingly easy to produce.

        Leftfield early stuff
        Morales remixes
        Sasha
And mostly all Weatherall’s back catalogue on vinyl/digital.

zackster I’ve a few Rob Hood tracks. They have to be really pitched down lol

Yeah some of his early shit is like 145 range. Sensational tunes all.

Probably John Graham thinking about it with all his monikers, collabs, the remixes he’s done and the remixes done of his stuff.

Blain Good shout, from the early Perfecto releases, DMC etc all the way up to recent times. Some output from him.
