On another note, and whilst I have your attention, do you still use your Google Chromecast Audio? Is there a workaround to get soeakers linked up in a group since Sonos won their case?

Old-Dutch hmmmm, I don’t link mine up as I have ceiling speakers in the downstairs all working off a single amp with audio plugged into optical. Had no idea about Sonos Vs Google on that one…interesting.

Yeah, Google lost an IP infringement case a year or so ago around the linking up of speakers.

Not the end of the world, but a bit of a cunt as I can’t link both Rokits anymore

Mad_Cyril they’re only about 3 feet apart. But I’ve been bragging to my mate who spent a shit load on Sonos gear about how mine does the same thing with better speakers for £30 a speaker. Think I’m just going to say one broke. Can’t lose face now

Just by way of an update as I hate to leave you guys on tenderhooks - I know you probably haven’t been sleeping properly since I started this thread.

I’ve fixed the issue. Basically I’ve put a splitter into one device and a cable into each speaker - no need for 2 devices at all.

Now I have a spare Google Chromecast Audio too. IN YOUR FACE SONOS - IN YOUR FUCKING FACE!!!
