Oh it’s absolutely possible. The path is exactly the same as 2016: voter apathy due a wildly unpopular D candidate. Young people hate Brandon’s guts and don’t really give a shit who wins the election. I am absolutely in the bucket, and will be voting for Dr. West. This is how I would be voting regardless, however I think a different candidate could easily sway the votes required to make it a lock. Gruesome Gavin is the name most popular in the press right now, but I think there are plenty of people D’s would rally around if given the opportunity. The problem is that the party is dogshit. This is the perfect example of why neo-liberalism needs to fail in order for any meaningful change to happen, which is again why I don’t really give a shit how things shake out.
