After Dutchy suggested getting one im on the hunt. Are they all subscription based, any decent free ones? Sorry in advance, i underdestand this basic stuff

NordVPN is probably the best. I managed to get a 2 year subscription for £75 back in May which was a steal

Protects your network. I’ve got a package that covers up to 6 devices so all banking online etc. is safe.

Same as Dutch said but I use ‘Private internet access’ instead of Nord VPN. Sometimes when I’m buying something online I have to change the country to uk.

Haven’t you got one already for all the nefarious Dark Web gear, Sean?

I’m a purist and prefer it the other way round.

Millsy No i got somebody else to order it and get it delivered to their gaff

So do most people actually have a VPN now?

I did but fucked it off. For what I need it for I just use operas built in free one. It’s shit slow but gets me where I need to be. And it bypasses the global block on pirate bay.
Would defo be handy for BBC iPlayer though.

          Astrill is very good too.

Set it to Sweden and there’s loads of stuff you can access that are blocked in UK (PirateBay etc) and China (er… just about everything that’s ‘fun’).

One off payment for me. It’s not that expensive really.

We’ve been using one since living in Cyprus.

Aside from the network protection, a lot of people use it because it can trick Amazon Prime or Netflix into thinking you’re still in the U.K. (or USA)

The USA version of Netflix is better.

Ps. Mad Beatport tip that I don’t publicise on socials that I found by accident. You can turn the VPN to United States and refresh your Beatport crate - go on and purchase in dollars. It has saved me a fortune.

I work in this field, my recommendation is Mullvad

Great thinking. Remember when they changed the prices for UK customers so they ended up paying more for tracks. Was a huge argument on GU about it at the time.
