Fucking hell lads. Take it to mumsnet.

This thread talks about quality of washing machines and how to get stains out.

That’s because you’re a tramp Bens and wash your awfully drab clothes in fairy liquid.

What did you go to those lengths for just to chuck a load of millets and Greenwoods in there?

Say what you will about Uniqlo, but their ultra light down jackets are truly brilliant. Best 50 quid you’ll spend if you’re looking for something warm this winter.

That combined with a tech-bro fleece jacket inside, and you’ve got your layers sorted.

alistair It’s a generic puffer jacket that weighs less than air. I think i saw at least 20 of them in Top Boy.

bosstrabs I’m sorry it’s not stone island or some other garish brand worn by new money Chinese.

bosstrabs It was unfair mentioning Stone Island, do admire the brand.

EDIT: Yikes just clicked the link. It’s black, grey or army green if you’re doing Stone Island. Definitely not bright yellow.

rhouses You’re wrong and you know nothing about this.

Strong colours on innovative fabrics are Massimo Osti’s trademark - literally what made him renowned as a designer.

bosstrabs I know one thing, I’m not spending that much on Stone Island to look like a volunteer traffic warden outside an elementary school.

          And neither would he.

Think im hitting a bit of a crossroads on the fashion front. As im in my late 40s im not ready for the Schofield look yet, but gawk at people my age wearing Billionairs Boys Club sweaters and ripped jeans.

What age appropriate designers / stores are befitting of a man of my age? Some of the Universal Works stuff looks ok. Plus some Carhartt stuff. Not ready for Paul Smith either……yawn.
