          Surely if sporting events are cancelled then it should be part of a proper mourning where everything is cancelled and closed. Not just cancel some events but the rest of the country carries on.

              Jagr for sure. I maintain Lemieux would’ve been the best all around player ever if he’d been healthy.

              zackster Maybe, I honestly haven’t paid a ton of attention to the nhl since the ‘94 strike. Watched the 2006 run and most of this years playoff games (just the oilers), but if I never saw another game, I probably wouldn’t care. Mostly just a childhood nostalgia thing at this point.

                The body is still warm and this thread has turned into an ice-hockey one. 😅
