Dan Dubman Bloke from my tennis club used to run a massive Soundsystem company and was hands on during the day at the events. I asked him what was it like looking after most of the top people….he said there all great …with exception of Oakenfold who was an arrogant tit who insisted on redlining the mixer.
Dubman Dan Hats off to those guys who work in that game setting up concerts & festivals. The last one I done was an 80’s festival in Kent. It was hammering it down but they still had to finish setting it up. Adam Ant was the headline artist apparently he’s a right cock.
Dubman Dan Really. That puts a different perspective on it. Adam & the Ants were the first concert I saw live at the Brighton Center. Was so disappointed as they sounded nothing like the records I bought.
Cankles-McJeggings Dan Haha and the Mondays. Brown took the biscuit though. Absolutely shocking load of shit.
Dry-Tinder Dan I remember him appearing at Homelands in 2000. He was singing Billie Jean, and I honestly thought that he must have been a pissed up roadie doing a sound check.
Cankles-McJeggings Dubman The Monday’s were also shite live. What about the Charlatans I saw the charlatans at the Apollo in 90 I think with the new fast automatic daffodils and the latter blew the charltans away. The only song Burgess managed to get in key was The only one. Tim’s looking great nowadays.
Mad_Cyril The Mondays were fucking boss live chaps, raw energy. Never saw any cunt stood around debating whether Shaun was singing in key. Palestines
Dan Dry-Tinder He has really helped my mate out over the years by playing his music. He did a gig in Germany and gave my mate another another half hour as he was really enjoying his set. Promoter looked a bit bemused. They couldn’t complain though with a packed club on a Wednesday night in Hamburg.
Cankles-McJeggings I’m not entirely certain but I think Brown is the only concert I’ve ever walked out of.
