Hursty Seems like that container ship fire was down to lithium ion batteries in electric cars onboard, much like another recently. Makes you wonder how safe the technology is and what the insurance companies will be saying as it seems to be happening not just with cars, but bikes, scooters etc. I spoke to someone recently who was charging their car using the 3 Pin plug which is pretty stupid as that is asking for a fire
Dan 99% of phones are lithium ion batteries and are stable. Samsung had an issue with exploding/Splitting batteries, but it’s down to cheap manufacturing/design causing the problems.
