Hursty Might be wrong here, pretty much the same as the Seltos.

Very close to pulling the trigger.

Cankles-McJeggings The KIA guy and VW guy had the same thing to say, if you’re not doing beginners level 4X4 off-roading and tough terrain, don’t bother with the Jeep.

Have you been in nano. Don’t know how it passed safety standards. But I can see the market though. A cheap small car for people. I did used to see a lot of Suzuki cars on the road. I know German cars are off the menu due to the massive import taxes.

Dubman haha Never been, and never will. With all the trucks here, that thing is a coffin basically.

The first car I moved back to India was a Maruti Suzuki Alto. Still get sentimental about that thing, used to call it the Smurf Mobile. Maruti Suzuki has a brilliant reputation here; bang for your buck, extremely durable (built for Indian roads) and probably the best after sales service compared to any other brand. Pretty much got 100% of what I paid brand new, after 8 years of use, when I swapped it out for the Hyundai Verna. Resale value was amazing.

I have a Qashqai and I gotta say it’s the most reliable and hassle free car I have ever owned. Very comfortable, good on fuel, I guess there is a reason that there are so many on UK roads.

Cankles-McJeggings Must have been a slip of the mouse. Definitely not a Jeep fan, infact one of the guys has a lime green Renegade, claims its his Mrs’, rest assured we absolutely rinse him daily for driving it.

If that’s his car I would hate to see his trabbs.

    It’s not Yant is it?

rhouses If it was me i’d get something with a decent manufactures warranty such as Kia/Hyundai as you daily driver, then try and save a few grand and buy a weekend runabout for the fun factor. You can pick up a decent Z4 with a 6 cylinder engine, Merc SL / SLK or BMW 3 series convertible for about 4 or 5 grand nowadays.

Approved used is another good option. I managed to get an X3 which was 9 yrs old from BMW with a 2 yr BMW approved warranty on it for about £11K all in. Only done 50K miles and was pristine.

This is how the biz tranz’ers roll, you gotta let’em know what’s what from the get go!

IndustryStandard I did think about going second hand in the premium sector, but felt the servicing cost and insurance would be too high. Second hand in India is a little different, roads are awful and Indian drivers are quite aggressive, wear and tear is probably a lot worse than the 1st world.

I’d just go with a Kia Seltos rhouse. You’re already emasculated so what the fuck. You can at least be emasculated with a 7 year warranty šŸ‘
