Have to compliment the designers at Bedrock 👌

Don’t think I even got the last one out of the wrapper.

Cutting edge…

Luke Chable - Melburn - Am Bee En Tea Mix

I’ve really liked the Beatless and downtempo stuff in particular on both Quattro albums.

a month later

Soundscape-disc done. Not much made me peak up, except the Electronica Mix of Artche - Indigo. The original mix is probably the best track released on Bedrock this year.

Tempo started pretty meh, but got good towards the end. Dimitri Nakov & Limara Remix of Ecstacy and the Robert Babicz-track were the highlights. Great ending track by Speakwave.

I haven’t listened to any of the quattros. Am I right in thinking it’s 4 discs of music only from the bedrock label? Nothing else.

I was ready to write off the breaks-mix beforehand, but it’s so far actually my favorite. Lots of good stuff, and great flow.

Not sure that’s for me. Surely it limits his tune choices for a mix massively. Obviously makes financial sense to release these. Not so much from an artistic perspective.

Take it this Quattro is absolute bobbins?

Redux. I’ve liked this the least of these. All in all Tempo and Breaks were really good. Halfway through Miles Atmospheric, and this doesn’t catch me at all.

So verdict is I’d deffo listen to the mixes through (they are on all streaming services), there is a lot of good stuff for some people here which you might want to purchase individually. I ticked off 6 tracks for my “current” playlist.

Homegrove quite liked that mix, and enjoyed the soundscape one. I think those ambient mixes are the only vaguely decent mixes from the Quattro series.

Haven’t listened ed but thinking along similar lines to you. Not like uncle John couldn’t afford to licence tracks from all and sundry to put out a new studio mix for us to enjoy…
