VR46 LT42 Safer out there than city centre. Place is full of junkies these days and its a expensive for food and drink, id highly reccommend hiring a car and doing the coast road over hanging about belfast.
IndustryStandard Mad_Cyril …..Mrs IS very thankful of the quality recommendations so far. Howard St was lovely . Thanks @-si-
IndustryStandard -si- …she’s been watching me DJ and talk prog for 25yrs , so this as an upgrade from that.
Smallman1 -si- Not sure that’s one to bring the missus over from england for though, funky. Might not get too many brownie points if he takes her to see mark williams playing 12 frames. Lol!
Mad_Cyril VR46 its a expensive for food and drink IS is from London, I think comparatively he’ll find it quite inexpensive
-si- bosstrabs Anywhere where Si is allowed to eat with the grown-ups should get a swerve. Fuck up, dave, you nonce.
VR46 Mad_Cyril What are you talking average price of a pint now in London, its nearly 7 quid in belfast city centre.
LT42 Smallman1 I met a guy from Clare out in Australia years ago, the kind of bastard who wore GAA shorts down in Bondi to show off his Irishness. He wanted to “introduce” Boxtys and Colcannon to the Ozzies thinking it was a no brainer, something all the culchies would be into. I reckon he’s on the fentanyl by now because he was an absolute unmitigated disaster.
bosstrabs Colcannon and Champ, Colcannon and Mash, Ulster Fry, Boxty and Mash, Mash and Spring Onion, Sean’s Spaceman Shoes, Leinster Junior Cup etc
