  • Sunak (General U.K. is Jaded thread)

C_J we’ll see. Classic inflation based on supply and demand seems to have gone out the window.

What do you think of the UK’s economic growth performance / forecasts versus the G20?

I think Brexit has cost us a bit, on balance, so far.

But otherwise, meh, it’s at or slightly below expectations.

I absolutely love Sunak and I think he’ll smash it out the park given the chance. If Starmer’s lot get in I’d expect the economy to take a hit (which is not necessarily an issue as long as you have a internationally diversified long-term buy-and-hold ting going on, ya get me)

My boy Rishi getting CJ’s vote of confidence. Love to see it.

Fuck off rhouse. He’s a self serving elitist little shit house rat.
He’d reverse over you after knocking you down too. That’s how close your boy feels to you.

      Did you vote for Brexit?

whatever no because I was overseas at the time.

Had I been in the UK I would probably have held my nose and voted remain because I’m weak.

Nothing weak about wanting to remain in the world’s biggest mutual trading set up and wanting free, simple and easy movement between borders of goods, services and people. Pretty basic stuff really.

I can hear CJ laughing like mutley from here, he’s definitely done a few up like a kipper today!

Millsy yeah. I know. And yet ……… look at Macron. Look how shady he is. Look at Germany and their shady ass bullshit. Look at ….. all the really dodgy shite they get up to. With the Belgians and the Dutch. You know?

          I know you know.

The racism against my EU brothers & they/thems is despicable.

He keeps sucking me back in. Yes Joe!

Cankles-McJeggings Honestly I haven’t really gotten into any of his policies or initiatives etc, and I find it incredibly ironic and borderline hilarious that it’s a coloured who is leading the tories and England. While the opinion might be biased, pretty much everyone one of my desi immigrant friends have said, ā€œAt least he’s hardworking.ā€ He seems to genuinely want to be a success, and perhaps see the country do well… a far cry from some of your other leaders.

The fact that you lot voted in a dimwit blond bimbo before him, tells the rest of the world a lot about the sort of people controlling the votes out there.

She wasn’t voted in by the public. It was just the Tory party members that voted her in.

Right, my bad. Always get a bit confused with the way the party can play musical chairs for Prime Ministers once they’re voted in.

rhouses at least we get to kick out our leaders. India seem stuck with the shameless Modi forever.
