‘Madders’ off injured in the first half. Looked like his hamstring.

Limited to four Budweiser units per person. 😂

That’s at least four too many.

Amps does the average footy fan want to go to this? I’m guessing not, so seems strange. A bit like the Arcadia set up there.

Shame you can’t kitchen sink it up in Doha as that’s a steady enough line up.

Someone from our JC fam should fill their suitcase with a mountain of gear and head over to punt it at that rave, they’d make a killing and the profits could pay the bar bill at the JC xmas do.

Is there anyone who’s bank balance has already been boosted by contributions from many of the JC fam, someone close enough to the UK’s largest airports, allowing them to get on a last min cheap flight, someone who lives in a capital city with obvious access to purveyors of the finest chemicals?

Any suggestions, anyone?

France’s problems are internal. Pogba (who isn’t going) tried to have someone cast a spell on Mbappe 😆 Everyone apparently hates Benzema. Rabiot is supposedly a massive bellend.

They have by some distance the best squad but this is France, who are known to implode. They went into 2002 with the strongest squad too, having won the previous World Cup and Euros, and got dumped out in the group stage without even a win, as I recall.

        ScottBailey you know it!

I’ve only gone and drawn Qatar in the work sweepstake 🤦🏼‍♂️

        Maybe they’ll buy it…

Our work sweepstake is really decent. The equivalent of a tenner in, each, but the prizes are for overall winner, the team who ends 17th (i.e. doesn’t get out of the group but is the best 3rd place team) and the wooden spoon. Therefore, not shit if you draw a crap team. I’ve got Japan so could grab that 17th spot prize. Keeps it very interesting.

Winner gets 160 quid, the other two prizes are 80 quid.

bosstrabs just as long as this trend doesn’t permeate the end of year board awards I’m all for it

Just drawn Argentina in our sweep, could be worse
