My missus has been great. She makes sure we get out the house for long family walks daily. But, she also has her moments. Feels that she is doing all the house stuff and we’re not getting enough quality time together as there’s nowhere to dump the kids.

Plus, the economic outlook plays on her job prospects, return to normality, not getting to see her family etc and its fucking hard all round at times. [Bleeding heart Middle Class Liberal Tears 😉]

Cycling helps first thing, but a lot of it is proper hard training, so even that is pain in the arse. Every now and again, I’ll just get up and go for a walk - that definitely works.

Missus is allowing us all a takeaway to be delivered for only the third time during lock-down tonight - curry. Can’t wait.

Curry too tonight! Looking forward to that no end!

We had to take 10 days before the end of this month.
Only allowed to carry 8 days which is the normal amount, and I never carry any over anyway.

We are on 75% pay so can take additional leave days. Which is smashing.

My brother who lives out on Croatia coincidentally is on 45% pay and his shiny new car has had to be returned.

He does work in the airline industry though so lucky to have a job at the moment. Their company has lost 95% of their revenue.

Whats the news from Croatia as to how they are looking to open up as that was our main concern. Getting there, if we could, but fuck all to do. I know their numbers are low though.

Disneyland Paris in September all being well (or not). Iceland with the Doris in October. Algarve with the boys in October and a summer hol in November with the fam looking at BF’s favourite Dubai (I know but it’s hot).

The R number is defo going to fuck it all
        up though

I read that as “Crying helps a lot at first” hahaha.

Mate you need to take some time off for your own wellbeing - even if you can’t go anywhere. Especially when things you are stressed to fuck. The last 3 months for me has been relentless at work. Just took some time off this last week

Went to the beach on Tuesday. It was a lovely change of scenery. Got there early and left before the tide came in so had plenty of space. Enjoyed the day but was bookended by a 16hr and 12hr day’s either side.

I’ve got no let up until the end of the month probably plus I’m recruiting for someone to assist which isnt the easiest thing to do in the circumstances.

Joeyp To be fair, it’s not aimed at me. It was a dreadful day out - kids loved it.

I had a take-away curry last night too.

        What are the chances?!

FabiParas They opened back up a few weeks ago now in terms of bars and restaurants. Still supposed to be social distancing but most people aren’t bothering apparently as the infection rate is super low.

Smallman1 I’m on Daddy day care all weekend as the Mrs is on a course. Sunday night for me!

Smallman1 opening a bottle of claret was we speak Ed. Cheers.

Mum has taken the kids too so kitchen sinking it for the first time in months. Digweed later will be great stuff.
