I could be changing my holiday plans as almost all my friends will not be in Goa this season. So I may fly to Thailand for a month as it’s not that far away. A good friend has suggested a few islands to stay at. Koh Lanta, Chang or Tao. Anyone been to any or can recommend a different island.

Loved Bangkok, simply for the madness of the place, would deffo recommend if you’ve not been.

I’m off to Thailand in February with the family and just me and the missus in August. A little island off Phuket in Feb and Koh Phangan in August.

Thinking about a last minute trip to Mexico this month. Anyone got any recommendations? Will be with the Mrs so something chilled by the beach.

RichM Not been, but bunch of different friends have been to the islands north of the Yucatan peninsula. Holbox, Cozumel and Isla Mujeres all highly recommended. Easy to get in and out of Cancun for flights.

Friends also recommend avoiding Tulum, as was once magical, but now full of Insta cunts.

Mates of mine just got back from Xcaret and have been raving about it. Bit pricey mind.

Millsy that place looks nice, but a grand a night seems well expensive for what it looks like. But then I’m comparing it to what you can get in Thailand, and for £500 a night you can get an amazing hotel with your own private pool

rhouses no idea mate, only spent one night there and stayed at a cheap place. It was in Phuket area we stayed in the more fancy places

Heading off to St Lucia next week. The beauty of not having kids of you can avoid going away over summer.
