Along_the_Wire The missus has ended any hope of a holiday abroad. We’ve got two night booked at Soho Farmhouse in early August, and instead of going on an actual holiday, the missus has suggested a romantic retreat in the Cotswolds, for fuck’s sake. To think that this time last week I was planning The Maldives.

Unsurprisingly, I’ve lost the battle with my missus - two nights with in Cotswolds at the arse end of next week incoming. Fucking Christ.

Camping trip down near Troy next week, can’t wait to get under the water down there. Down to Ayvalık afterwards for the best of seafood dinners nightly.

My trip to India in January is looking very doubtful. I read an article today that said most international flights to India may not be open until November or much later. I’m gutted.

Dubman Likewise. Our January flights are on Qatar, who have got a very generous refund/rebook policy, allowing for up to 2 years after the date of your flight. If we can’t go, we’ll lose some cash for the deposit we paid for our accommodation, but that’s pretty small in the run of things. And if it’s a small gesture to keep the businesses in Palolem afloat a while longer, then fine by me…

I hope so. But where I stay I pretty quiet. Even more so now that Thalassa got burnt down and moved. The only time it gets busy is when they have sunburn or the big parties at hill top.
