    Eligibility for ‘Album of the Year’ in the Grammy awards is actually the albums from October-October in the preceding year.

    NME always did their album of the year issue the week before Christmas, meaning any albums released in mid December onwards probably go into the next year’s selection. Etc…

          I like that Yeah Yeah Yeah’s album - SOTEOFTW and Wolf are two of the years best tracks but it’s only 5 or 6 tracks and two filler tracks.

            Wally Burning is a belter of a track from the album

                RichM Aye, tbf that’s decent as well. Quite the drop off after that. Album needed at least two more tunes to be an AOTY contender I reckon.
