Well their new documentary is trying to claim that Meghan is the new Diana *fingers crossed**

Into the weeds again with Hugo!

hugopal who the heck watches/watched golden girls?!

Strangely, Hugo, itā€™s totally possible to be aware of a cultural reference without actually watching the show, as many of us who grew up in the 80s probably will be.

My mum also watched Coronation Street at home, which I have zero interest in, but I am still aware of who Ken Barlow and Mike Baldwin are.

Mad_Cyril Iā€™ve always admired a beautiful man, but I could not deal with a penis other than my own.

    12 days later

Was forced to watch parts of the netflix show thanks to the missus; sort of empathized with them with all the pressures that comes with being part of the ā€œinstitutionā€ (their favourite buzzword to refer to the monarchy). That being said, wonā€™t be surprised if Williamā€™s PR team sorts out an assassination through the MI6.

Does make you wonder about the British media though, conveniently villainizing both of them while the pedo Andrew continues to live in bliss.

Anyone with half a brain doesnā€™t read the tabloids, Rhouses. The Guardian and The Times are just about the only vaguely respectable papers left in the UK nowadays. Everything else can go in the bin.

bosstrabs What about the Daily Mail? Iā€™d wager their numbers are huge and itā€™s the main publication that gets called out in the show.

Anyone with half a brain doesnā€™t read the tabloids, as previously stated.

I am shocked that there is such a huge market for this nonsense.

They can all do one, to be honest, that Ginger bastard and his egghead, pegging brother.

bosstrabs Doesnā€™t say much about the ā€˜half a brainā€™ British public, lapping all that shit up. In grained in the culture if you ask me. British tabloid are proper cut-throat.

The British public are MORANS, Rhouses.

Watched it. Iā€™ve always hated the predatory and destructive nature of the media and the need to break something first no matter who it hurts.

I believe Harry and Megan and think many peoples opinions about them made from armchairs / sat on the toilet just bring out their ugliest / most hurtful side projected into peoples lives that we canā€™t honestly have any true idea about. People just want to hate and we have seen that hate muscle exercised way more since brexit campaigns.

Imagine being them if even only half what they said was true.

Much of that documentary would have been staged to make the point, but I do believe in their point.

I also think making money when you have your own new family to look after on your own after being treated like that is fine even in circumstances / convenient opportunity like this.

Was really interested to hear how the queen had to listen / react based on advisors from the institution too and not respond as a grandma. Really eye opening.

bosstrabs I subscribe to the Times and am close to binning it as itā€™s getting worse in its reporting. During the release of this Harry and Meghan doc they had 2 articles a day for a week on it.

Piers Morgan. The epitome of the tabloid in human form. Made in a lab by Murdoch. Iā€™m sure he slithers out of his human suit at night and feeds on crickets in a tank.

I see Clarkson is in trouble now after that article he wrote in the sun on Friday. What I donā€™t get is Jeremy & Piers who on a daily basis hammers Megan on twitter both had that big lunch with Camilla on Friday.
