Saw Avalon Emerson at Dixon’s Lost In a Moment over the summer.

She totes smashed it.

Cheers!

Amps and that was your first mistake (disclaimer, there are a couple of classics on there tbf) but it’s a fair bit of new stuff, M&B reworks, and forthcoming ZT stuff. I just really enjoy that dark sound, everyone these days seems scared of a little depth, too much sterile over produced dogshit IMHO. Each to their own though, hey.

Couldn’t figure out if it was a boy or a girl.

    Avalon Emerson, not Ed.

Can’t say there’s been anything posted in the random mixes thread on here this year that’s made me download or want to listen from start to finish. Digweed has been pretty uninspiring for the most part. Sasha has fallen even further off my radar this year, to the point where he’s just a dot to me now (Friends reference). Pappa has been ‘meh’, etc…

So I’ll give my nomination to the link below as I heard it start to finish and it was unlike everything I was hearing at the time (in a good way): -

        Avalon Emerson,

Really? You clearly need to get your eyes checked.

Though I suppose all your years of experience with Thai ladyboys has encouraged you to be sceptical of such things.

wrongun Soundcloud is a mystery to me these days, won’t work on the phone (Says Artist does not exist, go back to Homepage)….

here ya go, Cartsy. Sublime. 3 hours to be exact.

          Chris Fortier Whirling Dervish

Took me a while to get round to it but I have had it on a lot. I love it.

Sasha at glade a close second

And the apple mixes have been mostly very very good.

Looking forward to this years Spotify playlist.

Last years was an eye opener to say the least 👀

LT42 Jobby making a living from the kind of breaks mixes I spent two decades pedalling and getting nowhere with. Fair fucks to him.

Don’t worry Amps, your sterling Twitter work is going to come good, I can feel it!

The trabs were the issue, not the tunes.
