NasserAlazzawi he admitted he posted that straight after the gig without knowing what happened, which makes it even stranger he didn’t just remove it all together or edit it so that is didn’t say it was a great night.

NasserAlazzawi Sometimes when DJs travel to sets they are in and out of a club and straight into the hotel before the next flight. Or even off to another gig.

Lawler’s from Birmingham, and has been a regular at Crane since it opened. Spose there’s a small chance he was jumping on a train back to Tamworth…

Lawler definitely did know about what happened and shouldn’t be posting about how it was a great night.

Absolute dick.

Don’t mind him, Nas. He’s not even a popular DJ.

ScottBailey Steve Lawler has posted his set from Crane nightclub on the 26th, the night that lad got killed.

What happened? I’ve not heard about this.

He was quality at Harlem nights, but he often played much shorter sets than billed.

Probably the only set from Crane that will ever see the light of day. I saw him at the Gods Kitchen reunion the week before at Crane, he was ok, but Danny Howells obliterated him the set before.

Safe to say Crane will never open again. The police reported that they turned up to a murder and security were asking for help with crowd control. They guy was dead in the middle of the dance floor and the bar staff were cleaning the crime scene. The only surprising thing from the police statement was that they were surprised about the amount of drugs bags on the dance floor, this was branded a rave after all.

The checks going in were poor though.

Dry-Tinder No metal detectors, and the searches were merely a brush down, according a witness. Just waved in apparently. Licence will definitely get revoked in my opinion.

It was revoked yesterday. According to Sky News, Crane didn’t even oppose the decision. From a police point of view the whole thing was a train wreck.

        Does Craine have Abbleton installed?

ScottBailey sounds like it was a proper disaster, someone dead on the dance floor and security not knowing what to do. Just goes to show how important door staff is to venues.

I’m sure we have all thought door staff are wankers overs the years but they have an important role to play during the night. I hope venues learn from this
