My first mix for ages - so many attempts and fuck ups, it’s been horrendous and stressful especially learning to mix out with loops. I couldn’t mix that Quivver track in and out for love nor money, but I love it, so worked around with the filter instead - made a bit of a pig’s ear of it to be honest, but it stays. Some punchier tunes than I’ve usually mixed with in the past.

    That mix into quiver only jars a bit mate. Just a bit of clashing hi hats. The mix out is all about dropping the bass out earlier as the incoming clashes a bit because it’s a bit of a stripped down track in comparison.

      Love that intro….great track that.

      Thought this was very good mate. All the tracks complemented one another really well and it all built up really very well. Some lovely floral hints of bees wax and Pledge in between too. Sturdy, fragrant and full of expert craftsmanship. Would listen again.

        Excellent stuff, will give a whirl whilst making dinner.

        I enjoyed the mix - i think you are beating yourself up a bit unnecessarily. I thought the mixing was spot on, couldn’t really tell on a lot of the tracks, and although that Quivver transition is a little off it’s not nearly as bad as you think.

        Top track for me is Pale Blue - Dive

            I’ll use this as the soundtrack for cleaning the house before NYE festivities. I know already though that tracklist is not up to @SM001 ’s standards.

              Interrupted about every 5 fucking minutes by my two until I had to give up around 45 minutes or so in.

              Did enjoy the transition from ‘Dive’ to ‘Choir to the wild’, about the only bit that didn’t get interrupted.

              Will have another go when they’re out, or buried in the garden.
