It depends, some people said this happened 10-15 years ago but didn’t last long. Id be interested to see if he makes a season or year or two out of it.
But I can’t help (unfortunately) feeling that clubbing is a mostly young persons game and the big challenge for prog DJs is just getting their attention whilst fewer and fewer older music lovers with cost of living to worry about attend events. This was a factor before cost of living crisis was a thing but, with the Prog scene being such a niche within a niche, it’s difficult to draw enough musically mature fans in.
I’ve honestly met fewer than five 20 year olds who love Prog and the struggle to stay current as an artist who has to tour and fill venues is very real.
