bosstrabs You won’t understand it, Dave. Get back to your scum frog perfecto mix and radioactive man .

I do actually love Craig Richards Fabric 01. And was there for many Craig Richards sets circa 2002-2004.

Him, Lee Burridge and Tezza Francis were my fave djs around that time.

However, I just closed my eyes and as Bushwacka - Bluntski, the high point of this mix, crashed in, I had a mental image of Rhouses wheeling the mobility scooter into Abdul’s with a pair of Yeasty slides on, massive crusty brown toenails poking out the front.

Just chucked it in the bin for good.

bosstrabs Kinda disagree with this. With prog (GU), you need two discs because they’re basically mixing intros and outros for a good 2-3 minutes minimum for each track.

With tech house (fabric), the mixing is a lot tighter and shorter. Looking back at it now, there is a definite charm to the fabric mixes being one disc. Do like that double disc Craig-only Tyrant mix though. And the triple disc with Terry Francis, Craig Richards and Keith Reilly is quite good as well.

bosstrabs You can always go back to it on Apple Music, if China hasn’t firewalled it. Was pleasantly surprised to find it on there this morning.

On to Tezza Fabric 2, now that’s a brilliant opener. BPMs might be a tad bit high, but still quality.

Then swiftly downhill for Jon Marsh’s effort

rhouses Got the promo of it sent to me along with Jon Marsh’s one. Why they didn’t send me el Tel’s effort I don’t know. Love his ’98 essential mix.

BlainSA Jon Marsh - forgot about this one.

Pink Yo’ Black and G-String Underbeard are great tracks.

BlainSA Then swiftly downhill for Jon Marsh’s effort

Parts of it were dodgy, agreed.

Actually, 04 Tony Humphries and 05 Pure Science have never been well-loved either, but I liked them a lot.

BlainSA bosstrabs Was Jon Marsh that bad? Remember the red cover and that’s about it. Tony Humphries was vocal driven house & soul? Wasn’t really for me. Pure Science was good, edgier tech house?

Top of my head remember loving Doc Martin, but that might have been my west coast bias. And of course Hippe and Halo, which is flawless.

rhouses Top of my head remember loving Doc Martin

As a big Doc Martin fan, perhaps you can answer the following:

Why is it in the early episodes he is called Dr Martin Bamford, but then after the first season the character played by Clunes becomes Dr Martin Ellingham?

bosstrabs Dave I’m not googling this. Roy Cropper seemed worth it because it’s my boy, the sultan of bants, MC, and it was shitting on Millsy.

This feels a bit random to look up.

                Cankles-McJeggings As cringeworthy as this?

“Why is it in the early episodes he is called Dr Martin Bamford, but then after the first season the character played by Clunes becomes Dr Martin Ellingham?”

                lol.

Lavelle’s FabricLive is a cracker. Terrific finish with Healer followed by Everything in its right place

rhouses It’s got some good tunes on it, but not well put together. Doesn’t even come close to Digweed’s effort.

BlainSA ffs blain, we’re done with the digweed fabric mix… did you have to shoo that bastard in again? It’s shite and that’s that.

Tyler Stadius lined up, looking forward to it. Doesn’t count for much, but I believe this has Dave’s stamp of approval.

alistair after all the heat I get for Barcelona, thought I skip it for this thread. It’s good, not great.
