I’ve heard a lot worse than Fabric 20 that’s for sure.

Billy Dalessandro - In the Dark. Cracking track. One of those head tracks that spins you out on a good system.

That Wink mix of Infusion is also a beast.

Enjoyed the Craig Richards Tyrant Double Fabric CD more than the Diggers one.

And half of the Tyrant one was an absolute din.

When Rhouses mentioned it was “total shit” I had to go back and relisten because I was confused that maybe I hadn’t heard it. I think it’s safe to say I will never listen to anything Rhouses says ever again.

Has anyone heard from mark skinny flashy today?

I am slighty concerned as the banter levels are low and he keeps us afloat!

MARK, LET US KNOW YOU’RE OK, PLEASE, MATE!

@mono-stereo please can you change Si’s username to mark skinny flashy? Clearly SI is who the deranged sockpuppet meant

LT42 In the dark is a banger of a track, like there’s good tracks on the mix just don’t think it’s one of his best ones or one of the best of the series

Does anyone like that In The Dark track?

      10 gooduns for Monday,

      DVS1
      Steffi
      Gerd Jansson
      Joseph Capriati
      Ben Klock
      Shackleton
      Ricardo villalobos
      Carl Craig
      Andrew Weatherall
      Doc Martin

LT42 It’s relatively passable that you will not hear a bad word said about Heat, but Digweed’s fabric is definitely not worth the time.

That being said, if run of the mill, weak af 2005 electro tech house with some ropey mixing is your preference, by all means continue listening to it.

Tbf, The Glass - Won’t Bother Me is on it, and that was my anthem for the year.

But surely you just can’t forgive that mix with the Martin Solveig track on it. I know I couldn’t.

Lol infusion better world on it as well. This is like some now thats what you call tech house 2005 mix. Shit show.

rhouses The Glass - Won’t Bother Me

Anthem of the year ?? 😂Fuck me id be embarrassed to admit that. Hate to know what your worst track was. Utter bilge pump electro clash tripe.

Cankles-McJeggings hasn’t aged well, for sure. To put things into perspective, Sasha ended every single one of his sets with some cheesy remix of the killers that year. Thin white duke, Jacques lu cont, I think.

20 years ago, I’d struggle to find anything that was timeless from that year.

Wow didn’t know that rhouses. Where could I have been? Are you trying to justify it just because fatso finished his sets off with it?
That electro clash era was the absolute death of the prog and of the bald one. I never forgave him for that bollox.

Cankles-McJeggings It was a fun time which I hold on to dearly; loads of pills, clubbing every other weekend, a full-on immersion into dance music (with my nose up at dutch trance), spending all my money on vinyl and mixed CDs (70% of which are unlistenable in 2023)… but am I mostly embarrassed by the cheese, the 135 BPM, and generally being all too excitable about dudes playing other people’s music? Absolutely.

Back on topic, I look at Digweed’s Live In London as the fabric mix we were hoping for. Quality tech house leading up to his vortex prog. Fabric 20, however, could easily be a Funkagenda Mark Knight mixed CD from 2007… but carry on LT, please keep listening to that garbage.

                Ah yes, the progressive lifestyle.

Cankles-McJeggings Yeh, I’d say shortly after that myself with all the mnml/dreadful tech house that was about. Remember convincing some of my mates that weren’t into Digweed to go to Bedrock after I’d been going on about it for years and he bored the fuck out of them with it - which was fair. It was like John Creamer again but for longer. Awful time for music and took way too long to recover.
