I am coming around to the possibility that they might actually get him for this one. It has long been my opinion that you can’t jail a President because the very nature of being President is committing crimes, and so the precedent would be too dangerous. However, it does seem like this specific situation is so uniquely stupid in a Donald way that they can pinch him without future Presidents worrying about going to jail for lying to congress about WMDs, or drone strikes, or flying planes into the pentagon or whatever.
