There are plenty of criminal enterprises that have zero effect on the lives of many, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be prosecuted or held accountable. Who’s to say the next demegogue who comes along isn’t emboldened by what he tried to pull off, especially if people keep brushing it off and making excuses for him. The worst thing that can happen is people losing perspective but the whole country has become a parody of itself so it’s understandable if people have some kind of acute form of Stockholm Syndrome.

This is the perspective. Our healthcare system is a nightmare. Our taxes pay for a war that nobody wants. Forest fires due to climate change kept the eastern side of my state locked in doors for a decent portion of the summer because the air was poison and the sky was orange. Hawaii is now the movie The Road. I don’t see how any rational person could give a shit about the sanctity of American Democracy or what Donald and his band of idiots did on Jan 6th, or in the buildup, when the system we should supposedly be so invested in has directly caused all of the insurmountable issues that actually impact our daily lives. This country has been a parody of itself for the entirety of my life. Acting like there is some precipice that has yet to be crossed is only for the CNN-pilled.

This is the kernel of the problem. And it’s the same deal here in the UK.

If that was the case there wouldn’t be large percentages of registered voters who vote in both countries. People vote anyway instead of boycotting the whole charade. Those uninvested are the minority. Still, none of that has anything to do with Trump using the office to protect himself from major crimes but he’s been caught now so lets hope the justice system does its job, you’d like to think its the last institution to still have its integrity. We’ll see.

LT42 Vivek seems pretty cool to me. Probably my second favorite to Don. He seems to be the only candidate who actually understands the point of the primary and playing the long game. He’s been hiring a colonial 1776 style marching band to show up at his appearances and play him off stage. Snare drum, fife, ex… He was a rapper when he was in college known as Da Vek, the libertarian-minded rapper. Even to this day he will treat his audiences to a cover of Eminem’s “Real Slim Shady”. He’s a Hindu which could pose a problem when dealing with the 99.99% of the base who love Jesus. Thankfully he has been telling audiences “Just like you, I to believe in one singular god.” Seems pretty air tight to me. Vishnu and Jesus are both avatars of the same god, is what I assume the logical conclusion to be. He also wants to disband the FBI. All desk jobs will be laid off, and all field agents will be made into Federal Marshalls. This I can absolutely get behind as I also think the FBI should be folded, and more US Marshalls sounds great as I love the TV show Justified. Long story short, he gets the realistic potential of the race, i.e. becoming a Mayor Pete type person for the Right. Four years from now he could have himself a cabinet position, have his name being thrown around for Senator, and/or be a regular paid guest on FOX News or the like. Just a cool dude with realistic goals and a desire to secure the bag.
